About Us
The original Wichita High School in Wichita, KS was established in 1873. Our iconic East building opened in 1923 and we became known as Wichita High School East in 1929. Wichita East enrolls as many as 2300 students from across the city in a variety of learning programs including AVID, Honors, AP, and IB. The students at East benefit from many clubs and student organizations that have received local, state, and national recognition.
The DECA program at Wichita East prepares students for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Members participate in professional learning and competitive events and conferences and several represent East High at the International DECA Conference each spring.
The Ace Place Online is one of two school stores managed by DECA members and is the official supplier of Wichita East apparel. The school stores are the primary source of funds used to support members who attend DECA conferences throughout the year.
The aim of this online store is twofold: to provide students a real-life experience managing an online store, and to provide an opportunity to purchase East High apparel to current students, alums, and members of the East High family across the globe.
